Mission Cash is an espionage-themed slot game from Play N Go featuring bright visuals, a cool soundtrack, and some interesting game mechanics. Players take on the role of an elite secret agent at the panel of a control centre; it works kind of well, considering we’re all playing this game on a screen, and it’s a fun and original theme that will appeal to James Bond fans. Overall, Mission Cash doesn’t offer anything particularly new but it is a nice looking entry into Play N Go’s catalogue, with some cool features and a fresh feel.
Gameplay
In Mission Cash, players spin 3×5 reels to score winning combinations on 20 pay lines – a pretty common layout in modern slots. Players make an initial bet and spin the reels, hoping to line up combinations of symbols. The lower value symbols in the game include spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs while the higher value symbols are different coloured agents; Agent Blue is the most rewarding standard symbol in the game, netting you 50x your stake for five in a row. Where Mission Cash really gets fun, though, is in the crosshairs.
Special features
Each time you spin the reels, a crosshair will move around on the screen, randomly stopping somewhere – if it lands on either Agent Blue or Agent Red, that symbol will become a wild and expand to fill its reel; this wild reel will then stay in place for your next spin, as you attempt to hit a lucrative combo with the new wilds. The crosshair will keep aiming, though, which means that you can keep netting more frozen wild reels and more re-spins – until potentially all five reels can be solid wilds. If the crosshairs ordinarily land on the game’s scatter symbol, this will also reward you with eight free spins. The crosshair is a very nice feature and certainly adds extra anticipation to each spin.
Mobile game-play
Players who prefer to spin the reels while out and about will be happy to hear that Mission Cash works well on a range of devices including mobile. Provided the casino you’re playing at has a decent mobile site, both iOS and Android smartphones and tablets should be able to run Mission Cash in all of its glory; the graphics look clear and the sound is still great. If you enjoy this game on desktop, do give it a try on mobile too.
Return to player
The return to player (RTP) of Mission Cash is 96.65%. If this doesn’t mean much to you, imagine you’ve poured in $100 spinning the reels while playing this game; this RTP means that, on average, you should expect to have won about $96.65 back. Compared to many online slot games, this is actually a pretty decent RTP and should satisfy the majority of players, even those who only play slots with low house edges. It’s a high variance game, though, so be prepared to wait a little while to see those returns coming back. review here
