Wow, wow, wow! What a shocking week of football! Not only were some of those results CRAZY, we also saw some events outside of the game take place that have been all over the media. Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta getting in eachothers faces was the highlight of the weekend for us, and a lot of people will be having mixed emotions about the sacking of Solskjaer from his managerial role at Manchester United.

For our Gameweek 10 EPL predictions, you may have noticed that we had to outsource for our betting options, but for our predictions last week we saw the return of our usual mystery tipster, and this week also came with a decently high return! We managed to land 10 out of 16 on our predictions this week, which could have been 11 if the Offside rule was less strict! This equates to a 62.5% (63%) return rate on our EPL Predictions for GW12…not bad!

Game Week 12 – EPL Predictions Recap

We will now have a short glance back at some of the best and most important results from Game Week 12. Starting off with Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over Leicester City who actually let us down on the 11 out of 16 because of a disallowed goal that ruined our Both Teams to Score bet. It seems as though Chelsea are going to keep their 3-point lead at the top of the table for a while. The next two games of the week ended in 3-3 draws, with Newcastle v Brentford and Crystal Palace v Aston Villa all securing 1 point each for themselves and keeping their goal differences exactly the same. Manchester United got wiped out by Watford in a 4-1 loss that also saw Maguire sent off with a red card after receiving two yellows in 7 minutes. Liverpool hounded Arsenal 4-0 at Anfield and Manchester City followed the Clean Sheet streak beating Everton 3-0 at home too. Leeds lost a half-time lead and ended up losing 2-1 to Spurs at full time.

This Week’s EPL Predictions

Now, moving on from our reflection section, we will now jump forward in time and take a look at what’s to come in Gameweek 13 of the unfolding Premier League. There are some very interesting fixtures coming up this week, with some of the big names in the league taking on each other for the first time since last year. We could definitely see some good matchups and high intensity football this week. As usual, we will start by selecting our favourite 3 fixtures for the week ahead and putting together a 3-bet builder for each of these games. After that, we will select one soccer bet for each of the other games. Of course, we would never recommend placing all of the bets as one huge Accumulator, but instead you should choose your favourites from our selections and place them as singles or as a small Accumulator bet.

Liverpool v Southampton (November 27th, 3pm BST)

Southampton have not looked too bad so far this season, not really imposing themselves too well but also not being completely ruined like they did a few times last season. Of course, we want the best for every team, but we think that Liverpool being at home this weekend could be the game where Southampton take a huge blow. Hopefully this game is as interesting and exciting as we are expecting it to be.

(All Odds correct on Bet365 as of November 22nd)

Liverpool -1 Handicap (CR: 5/5) | @ 4/6

Liverpool to Score in Both Halves (CR: 5/5) | @ 8/11

Over 0.5 First Half Goals (CR: 4/5) | @ 2/9

Crystal Palace v Aston Villa (November 27th, 3pm BST)

Both of these teams have had decent starts this season, with Vieira and the newly-appointed Steven Gerrard both wanting to prove themselves in every game they play. We think this game will be a very close one to call, but the home advantage should come into play for a slightly more settled Crystal Palace. We are feeling good about our selections for this game.

(All Odds correct on PowerPlay as of November 22nd)

Both Teams To Score: Yes (CR: 5/5) | @ 3/4

Over 2.5 Match Goals (CR: 5/5) | @ 10/11

1X [Crystal Palace or Draw] (CR: 4/5) | @ 3/10

Chelsea v Manchester United (November 28th, 4.30pm BST)

Following the sacking of Manchester United’s manager, they may struggle to try and pick up any points during the next few games. A thriving Chelsea will definitely capitalise on this factor and will be aiming to secure yet another victory as well as expanding their positive goal difference to keep them clear at the top of the EPL Table.

(All Odds correct on bet O bet as of November 22nd)

Chelsea to Win (CR: 5/5) | @ 8/15

Over 2.5 Match Goals (CR: 5/5) | @ 10/11

Most Goals in Second Half (CR: 4/5) | @ 1/1

Other EPL Predictions

Arsenal v Newcastle – Arsenal to Win Either Half (CR: 5/5)

Norwich v Wolves – Over 2.5 Match Goals (CR: 4/5)

Brighton v Leeds – Most Goals in Second Half (CR: 4/5)

Brentford v Everton – Both Teams to Score: Yes (CR: 4/5)

Manchester City v West Ham – Manchester City Over 1.5 Team Goals (CR: 5/5)

Leicester v Watford – 12 [Leicester or Watford Double Chance] (CR: 5/5)

Burnley v Tottenham – Burnley Clean Sheet: No (CR: 5/5)

Summary

We did well last week, and we hope to continue that this week with another decently high return rate. If we can consistently get above 60% with our EPL Predictions, we are happy, although we would much prefer an even higher return but this could be too much to ask for as soccer betting can be very hard to call!
