Wow! What a week of football. The bar has definitely been set this season and it seems as though someone jumps straight over it every week. Before we dive into our Gameweek 10 EPL Predictions, we will take a look at some of the results from last week and develop an idea of how these results have affected the table. First things first, how did we do on our Predictions? Well, not too shabby, really! We managed to get 11 correct out of the 16 total, although one of these was voided due to injury, which makes our total 11 out of 15, or 73% accurate! A good improvement on last week, and hopefully we can keep this up in the future.
We will now look into some of the main football results from last week, starting with Friday nights fixture between Arsenal and Aston Villa. This game was a thriller and saw Arsenal gain another victory, and sent them forward in the table by a decent amount. Aston Villa displayed heart in this game, but the points escaped them. Chelsea thumped Norwich in another loss for the side, beating them by 7 goals to Nil, securing themselves 3 points as well as a mark in history. Rodrigo pinched a last minute equaliser against Wolves, which saw them scrape a point out of a game where they deserved all three. Manchester City regained their confidence against Brighton and beat them 4-1 to secure their top 3 position. Manchester United saw a very embarrassing performance which resulted in a 5-0 loss to Liverpool in a record-breaking matchup at Old Trafford.
This Week’s EPL Predictions
Moving forward from these results, Game Week 10 has a few more decent fixtures to offer. As usual, we will pick out three of our favourite fixtures from the upcoming week and will give THREE tips that can be backed separately or as a treble if you so wish. These picks, as with all of our previous ones, are never 100’% guaranteed, but a lot of research and consideration goes into our tips which gives us a decent bit of confidence.
Liverpool vs Brighton (October 30th, 3pm BST)
After Klopp’s side saw a tremendous win over Manchester United, the team’s confidence will be buzzing in the air and it is definitely on the cards for Liverpool to continue their winning streak. We can see this game being a decently high-scoring thriller, most likely in favour of the Merseyside squad, but it could potentially be a tighter game than many may expect as Brighton have proven on occasion that they are a tough team to get through.

Manchester City vs Crystal Palace (October 30th, 3pm BST)
Manchester City are coming off the back of a 4-1 victory over Brighton which saw them celebrate in tremendous fashion considering the history of the two clubs. The game was high in excitement and both teams had a fair few chances, it just came to be that Manchester City had better accuracy overall and finished the game on the stronger foot. We expect the fixture between a thriving Manchester City and a strengthened Crystal Palace will be a great one.

Aston Villa vs West Ham (October 31st, 4.30pm BST)
Both of these teams have struggled to find the net as much as they should be, with players like Danny Ings, Michail Antonio and Said Benrahma scoring some goals but not as many as they’d probably hope. It seems that thing lineup has come at the perfect time for both of these teams to get some names on a scoresheet. West Ham recently had a shallow 1-0 victory over Spurs through a goal by Antonio, whereas Villa lost to Arsenal after only scoring 1 goal past their defence. This game should be action packed for both sides.
